Digital Instructional Materials Reflection
The digital world has given its citizens an opportunity to their own interests and not necessarily in the classrooms. Digital instructional materials as well as the internet has allowed learners and educators to reach out to the world and access and retrieve information that are most interesting to them. I am very much happy to be part of this educational transformation where a click of the mouse or the touch of the phone screen can take me to a trip to a world library like Google with so many resources. Using digital instructional materials as tools to learning and teaching has been a wonderful experience and it has greatly improved my skills.
Using technology, I have been able to develop an individual learner's plan that includes my e-portfolio, social as well as my academic achievements. By using google classroom, I have been able to check posted modules or learning materials and monitor my activities in classwork. I have also developed my personal learning network that has allowed me to interact with friends and other people around the world.
I have also used technology to engage in other platforms such as facebook and YouTube where I get to interact with my peers and focus on educational technology. Using YouTube, I'm able to share videos that talk about my non-digital and digital IMs. In my technology channel which is blogger, I'm able to share several projects and reflections regarding the subject topics. I created most of my projects using Google Docs.
I believe that learning is a journey and it has no ending. I am determined to never stop learning because I am aware that the wheels of technology are constantly rolling. There is no doubt that technology has truly changed education and we continue to play our role in this transformation era.
